High performance reflex port design
To increase the Genelec M030 woofer’s low frequency extension and SPL capacity, Genelec designed an ingenious flow optimized reflex port. The built-in port maximizes airflow so the M030 can reproduce deep bass without compression. The Laminar Integrated Port (LIP) minimizes port noise and provides excellent bass articulation.

Each Genelec M030 monitor features a 5″ bass driver along with a 0.75″ tweeter loaded into a new advanced Genelec Directivity Controlled Waveguide (DCW) for optimum dispersion of highs. With a requency response of 48Hz to 20kHz, the M030 is perfect for accurate studio monitoring. Bass and treble are each powered by 50-watt and 30-watt amplifiers, respectively.
