Authentic Pedal Articulations

Pianoteq being modeled (using laws of physics instead of pre-recorded sounds) can compute the sound for all 127 pedal positions that the standard MIDI protocol allows. Sampled pianos however cannot afford to record the sound for all single notes at each possible pedal position as the samples would require a massive amount of harddrive space.
