Super Nylgut sets have a fascinating pearly color and a smooth and pleasant surface under the fingers like a natural wax. They are quite soft but at the same time less stretchable, so they are easier to bring to the desired note and even when new, they keep the intonation in check. In addition, Super Nylgut is stronger and is therefore less sensitive to any sharp corners of the nut, it dents less against the frets or when played with the fingernails.
The Double C2U is a combination of a piezo and transducer with an active preamp powered by 2x CR2032 3V batteries giving you more than 80 hours of performance. This pickup features a volume and mic control at the soundhole which will let you choose between the piezo and transducer pickup or blend in both to get the desired sound. The transducer pickup captures the natural tone and warmth you would want to have on your record and complements the dynamic of finger picking.
