Whats more the clean multipoint touch-friendly interface (with 3 different skins) is a joysee all band parameters at once or focus on a single band. No wonder this EQ has stood the test of time.
Unlike some EQs no band is limited to a specific rangeevery equalizer band spans the audio spectrum from 16 Hz to 21.357 kHz. The gain extends all the way to 18 dB and Q is variable from 0.71 to 1.41 dB/octave.
All bands can do the expected bell and shelf responses. However the low and high bands can also be filtersor choose from a resonant shelf option which recalls the response curves of vintage analog EQs.
The real-time analyzer shows precisely how EQ adjustments affect the frequency response but theres more: hover over the display and the display shows the frequency under the cursor in both Hertz and musical notes.
Gain-staging is crucial with EQ. The Trim parameter shows how much headroom is left or whether its being exceeded. Even better one click on the Trim button adjusts the level automatically to prevent clipping. 300+ Presets by Grammy Winners Browse through a staggering 310 artist presets from 54 Grammy-winning producers and mix engineers including Lu Diaz (Jay Z) Eddie Kramer (Led Zeppelin) Thom Russo (Michael Jackson) Ross Hogarth (Van Halen) and many more.
